KAMAMESHI ISSUNBOSHI

“Kamameshi” refers to a Japanese dish made by adding condiments such as soy sauce and mirin to rice, topping it with ingredients such as vegetables, mushrooms, meat, and fish, and cooking it in an iron pot that contains a single serving. Our restaurant was established 35 years ago.

“Kamameshi Issunboshi” will continue to strive to serve customers warm kamameshi made with local ingredients produced in Nikko at reasonable prices.

*Rice forms the very heart of kamameshi and the rice we use is produced locally in Nikko.
